Freedom of Information

To request general information which we hold that is not included on this website, please follow the Freedom of Information Requests procedure below. If you are requesting personal information that you believe Humberside Fire and Rescue Service holds about you then please refer to the Data Protection section.

Update March 2020 - Coronavirus: it's possible we'll take more than 20 working days ​to supply information under Freedom of Information or Environment Information Regulations. The Information Commisioner recognises that longer time may be needed when HFRS staff have to prioritise other work to keep services running during the Coronavirus situation. Thank you for your patience.

Freedom of Information Requests

If you cannot find the information you require on our website, please email foi@humbersidefire.gov.uk or write to the address below. The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives ‘general right of access’ to information held by public authorities.

Exemptions

Some information may fall under one of the exemptions under the Act and may not, therefore, be released.

How will I get a reply?

Your request will be processed and the information sent directly to you at the postal or email address (if appropriate) that you supply with your request. We aim to dispatch the information as soon as possible, and in any case, within 20 working days of receiving your completed form.
