Humberside Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an accomplished Estates Manager to provide strategic oversight and effective management of the Service’s estate. This is a pivotal role, responsible for ensuring the delivery of capital and facilities management programmes to the highest standards across 31 operational sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the Service’s capital programme, including major refurbishments, new builds, and modernisation projects.
• Act as the principal liaison between HFRS, Joint Estates Services (JES) and HLM Architects, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic priorities.
• Manage relationships with multidisciplinary design teams and external contractors.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and best practice standards for health, safety, accessibility, and sustainability.
• Oversee all aspects of facilities management, including planned, cyclical, and reactive maintenance.
• Provide regular, accurate reports to Service’s senior leadership teams.
• Directly line manage the SHQ Custodian and Estates Administration roles
