Humberside Fire & Rescue Service have an exciting opportunity to join our Fire Safety Protection team as a Supervisor.
This is a challenging role with a high level of competence and knowledge required. The successful candidates will also need to be dynamic and enthusiastic as this is a role of management, training and enforcement.
This multifaceted position includes jointly overseeing the onboarding process for new team members during their training and development phase, overseeing and providing continued support to the qualified protection inspector team and ensuring resilience and effective management across the service area.
Furthermore, this position encompasses fulfilling statutory obligations, assisting in the delivery of the Risk Based Inspection Programme, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and policies, and contributing to the realising of the Service’ Community Risk Management Plan and Protection Tactical Plan.
We are currently looking to appoint a Fire Protection Supervisor to cover the North bank of the Service area, however, successful candidates will be expected to travel subject to the service need.
The post is contracted on a flexible 37 hours per week basis, however, there will be additional on-call hours to ensure out of hours enforcement.
