An exciting opportunity to join Humberside Fire and Rescue Prevention Team: we are looking to recruit an experienced manager with a passion for improving the safety of our staff and our community. We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual to join a forward-thinking Prevention Team.

You will play a key role in the Prevention Leadership Team in driving innovative across prevention, inclusion and safeguarding activities, including leading and improving our offer of prevention community engagement and youth intervention outcomes, with a focus on evaluation and performance outcomes. You will be responsible for managing a small multi-disciplinary team.

Key aspects of the role involve:

  • Lead on the provision of the Home Fire Safety Visits, specifically on the services offering and resources to prevent those most at risk of dying in a fire at home.
  • Working in collaboration with partner agencies, representing the service at local, regional, and national events.
  • Lead and advise on aspects of safeguarding standards in accordance with the relevant policies, guidance, standards, and legal requirements.
  • Lead on and co-ordinate the embedding of Public Safety Equality Duties specially across Prevention.

The role is full time, 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will be expected to work anywhere and travel across in the Humberside Service area as the business need dictates.
