"They were always so polite and wonderfully supportive when passing back calls to us on the telephone. Our staff really appreciated the friendly interaction and wishes of good luck during such a relentless period." This wasn't the first time we've assisted other Control Rooms though. During periods of spate conditions, where BT are unable to connect 999 calls to a specific Control Room, BT will then enact their own plans and start to deliver the 999 calls to other Fire Control Rooms around the country. Generally, this will be to neighbouring FRS Control Rooms, but in this instance, we provided assistance for the overflow calls for Consortium Partners (Hertfordshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk)".

Hello, can I say a big "Thank You" to your fire crews who attended a small blaze on the outside of my flat this morning. (The builders here were repairing the roof and the roofing repair process they were undertaking, caught the wooden tiles cladding the property, resulting in a small fire). Your crews attended in speedy time and made safe the remaining smouldering woodwork. So, once again, thank you for the rapid response and extremely professional service. Fortunately there's only minimal damage which is being put right by the builder here.

So, a big thank you to White Watch at Goole Fire Station for supporting me in my work by facilitating the visit and making a young lad very happy. Incidentally, he continues to do well in the work with me and is already hinting at the possibility of a further visit to see White Watch when he has completed his sessions!

To all emergency services who attended the fire. You were amazing, how someone didn't get hurt I don't know, please stay safe and well.
Please pass my admiration and thanks to all those involved in the response to the fire at Thompsons Plastics on the Priory Park Estate. The size and nature of the fire were a cause for considerable concern for everyone in the area. The explosions on site were very worrying and underlined the dangers firefighters are prepared to face every time they turn up for duty. The response from Humberside Fire and Rescue was prompt and decisive. The blaze was contained and there ware no injuries to either the public or the members of the emergency services. It was a credit to everyone involved and the contingency planning of the Humberside emergency services.

As residents just a few doors down from the incident this morning - we just wanted to send our Christmas wishes to everyone that attended. We are very grateful for the quick response and that the fire was contained so quickly. Given how close we are to Christmas, whatever the situation, it could have ended much worse without the response of Humberside Fire & Rescue. We hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas, and for those that will most likely be working over Christmas and Christmas day, stay safe! You all do an incredible job and we are very grateful for your service. Merry Christmas
