The environment agency has extended severe flood warning levels to a number of locations.

These areas include Kilnsea, Hessle Haven through to the Humber Bridge and Blacktoft. People living in these areas are encouraged to evacuate their properties and to go stay with friends and family in the areas away from here. This is to help ensure the the safety of the local residents

Another area in which the flood warning has been raised to severe is Victoria Dock, Hull. Due to the buildings here being high rise, residents are asked to move up to high floors. A large number of properties in this area are affected.

Residents who are evacuating are advised to take an overnight bag containing change of clothing, key documents including insurance policies and medication for 24 hours. Please remember to secure properties prior to leaving.
