Assistant Cook

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, an innovative, high performing organisation committed to serving the communities of Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, North-East Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire.

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Cook to join our team and help keep our Firehouse Café running smoothly.As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in supporting our Chef and ensuring our Café operates efficiently. You will possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a vibrant environment.Your duties will include:

• Preparation of the dining area for service.
• Assisting in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
• Washing and storing kitchen equipment.
• Assisting in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and hygiene within the kitchen environment.
• Supporting the team in day-to-day kitchen tasks.
