Our Prevention Team plans a range of training and awareness sessions open to partner organisations and the public.

Our sessions

Identifying Adults Vulnerable from Fire

Time: 50 to 60 minutes long
Session detail:

This session is designed so individuals can identify adults that are vulnerable from fire and then with permission refer to Humberside Fire and Rescue Service for a Home Fire Safety Visit, or they can cascade the advice and ensure that person has adequate smoke detection in place.

Partner High Risk Training

Time: 60 to 80 minutes long
Session detail:

This training is designed for individuals that work with or support adults living with or using emollients, medical oxygen, air flow products and hoarding.

The session is to raise awareness of the associated fire risk in relation to these areas. In addition, signposting for a Home Fire Safety Visit is covered through our “Safelincs” referral process.

Find out more about these sessions can be found on our dedicated Eventbrite page.
