StayWise is a FREE online library packed full of educational resources and activities from the UK’s leading emergency services and safety-focused organisations making it easy for you to find trusted materials that provide learning opportunities to help keep children safe.
StayWise brings together the collective educational resources of the emergency services and key safety-focused organisations. This has been done to support teachers and community safety practitioners in delivering essential safety messages.
It facilitates a more effective, consistent and curriculum-linked way of imparting vital life skills to todays' young people and preparing a safety-conscious environment for the generations of tomorrow. By using the tools on the site, we can strengthen relationships between communities and emergency services, enhancing the health and safety of everyone within our communities.
StayWise is the output of what can be achieved by combining the shared ambition and determination of the emergency services and safety focussed organisations in the pursuit of reducing avoidable injuries and deaths within our communities.
HFRS is one of the many organisations who have collaborated in the collation and refresh of existing resources through a UK-wide coordination network and have committed to the continued development of content to effect positive behaviour change in the young people of today, whilst preparing safer generations for years to come.
Led by the National Fire Chiefs Council, this programme seeks to join up safety education activity across the UK.
