We receive 999 fire calls from East Riding of Yorkshire, City of Hull, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire areas. When a call is received Control Operators ask a variety of questions to determine the most appropriate response to an incident.
We liaise closely with:
- Humberside Police
- Yorkshire Ambulance Service
- East Midlands Ambulance Service
- Utility Companies
- Local Authorities
Our Control Room is staffed by four Watches (Blue, Green, Red and White), working two day shifts followed by two night shifts.
They are highly trained to deal with any kind of emergency by providing the most appropriate advice.
