An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Prevention Team: Humberside Fire and Rescue Service are looking to recruit an individual with a passion for improving the safety of our staff and our community. We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual to join a forward-thinking Prevention Team.
You will play a key role in the Prevention Team in driving innovation across prevention, inclusion and safeguarding activities. You will also play an instrumental part in improving working with our operational firefighters to deliver our home fire safety visits.
Key aspects of the role involve:
- Conduct Home Fire Safety Visits, specifically on supporting the services offering and
- Deliver quality assurance outcomes to prevent those most at risk of dying in a fire at home.
- Working in collaboration with partner agencies, representing the service at local events.
- Deliver training activities to staff and to partners on domestic fire safety, as well as water and road safety to generate joint working and referral routes for Home Fire Safety Visit delivery.
- Work with young people to deliver youth engagement prevention outcomes.
The role is full time, 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will be expected to work anywhere and travel across the Humberside Service area as the business need dictates.
