Contract Type: Full Time, permanent

Salary: between Grade 10 £37,336 - 39,186 or Grade 11 £41,418 - 43,421 dependent upon experience and qualifications

Location: Service Headquarters

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our high performing organisation and become a senior member of our Procurement team as we prepare for the introduction of the new Procurement Act and plan our transition. We are proud of our Procurement team and are looking for a professional who holds a level 6 CIPS qualification and can demonstrate significant varied procurement experience in a sector regulated by the Public Contracts Regulations. Or someone who is well on their way in a Procurement career and looking to progress further. The salary and grade offered will be dependent upon the successful individual and what experience, qualification and skills they possess.

The successful applicant will form part of the organisation’s Procurement team and will be expected to play a mentoring role to other members of the team. The post holder with be the lead on contract management, but will be expected to assist with all aspects of procurement and supply.

The post holder will also be responsible for managing a Procurement Officer and will be expected to interact effectively with all levels within the organisation therefore have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
