Directorate / Team: Service Improvement – Corporate Assurance

Location: Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, Service Headquarters, Hull

Grade: 10

Salary: £38,626

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, 37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Corporate Assurance in the role of Service Improvement Supervisor based at Service Headquarters.

The main purpose of the role is to lead processes to support continuous service improvement, including corporate risk management, quality assurance, benefit realisation, evaluation, and effective engagement and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement service improvement strategies in line with Fire Standards, internal risk management, internal audit, HMICFRS inspectorate and best practice models.
  • Provide direction and support on change management, quality assurance, and evaluation.
  • Maintain policies, guidance, and processes to support service improvement.
  • Adherence to the Service Core Code of Ethics.
  • Self-awareness, and innovative skills.
  • Adaptability to changing demands.
