A Community Action Day takes place at Burringham Field in Scunthorpe on Thursday 29 July - the fun starts at 10.00am.
Located just to the back of Scunthorpe West Police Station on Burringham Road, multiple agencies have come together to put on a day of fun, advice and community cohesion for young and old alike.
The public can come along for free and meet local beat officers, fire service safety staff, representatives from Ongo, North Lincs Council, OPCC, Safer Neighbourhoods and many more who will be on hand to offer advice to local residents and promote new or existing services.
A street sport programme run by the North Lincs Council Activity Team will be accessible throughout the day to keep youngsters entertained and ice cream and doughnuts will be available as well as other refreshments.
