Humberside Fire and Rescue Service is hosting Station Open Days across the region this summer and joining other local events. Make sure to add the dates to your calendar and join us for a fun-filled day for the whole family.
Station Open Days Dates for 2026:
- Brough Fire Station – 20 June, 11am to 4pm
- Peaks Lane Station Firefighters Fete – 11 July, 11am to 4pm
- Bransholme Fire Station – 25 July, 11.15am to 4pm
- Beverley Fire Station – 1 August, 11am to 4pm
- Calvert Lane Fire Station – 22 August, 11am to 4pm
- Pocklington Fire Station – 29 August, 11am to 4pm
- Scunthorpe Fire Station – Date TBC
All stations will hold a SEND hour prior to the above start time.
At each of these stations, you can expect:
- Fire Engines and Equipment: Get up close to our fire engines and see the equipment we use in action.
- Meet the Teams: Chat with our firefighters, prevention teams and fire staff, and Frankie Fire Dog
- Interactive Displays: Learn about fire safety through engaging displays and activities.
- Children’s Activities: Fun and educational activities designed for our younger visitors.

Withernsea Blue Lights Weekend
Date: 8 – 9 August 2026
Time: All day
Withernsea Fire Station will be participating in the Blue Lights Weekend, a weekend of free family activities for all ages, including some good old-fashioned family seaside fun, all in aid of our emergency services and in memory of Steve Medcalf.
During the Blue Lights Weekend, you can expect:
- Live Demonstrations: Watch joint exercises and rescue scenarios.
- Emergency Service Displays: Explore the equipment and vehicles used by police, ambulance, and fire services.
- Meet the Heroes: Talk to the professionals who save lives and protect the community every day.
- Safety Advice: Receive crucial safety tips and information.
Cleethorpes 999 Day
Date: 30 August 2026
Location: Lower Kingsway, Cleethorpes
Time: 10am to 4pm
Cleethorpes 999 Day is your chance to come and meet your local Emergency and Essential Services ranging from Police, Fire Service and Ambulance to Beach Safety, Scout Groups and Wildlife Rescue.
There will be a various stands, vehicles and equipment to see alongside your local emergency service team. Lots of interactive fun for all the family and visitors to Cleethorpes!
