Humberside Fire and Rescue Service honours and recognises the outstanding contributions of its staff who have devoted 20, 30, 40 & 50 years to serving the community.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service are holding a Long Service and Good Conduct Ceremony at The Guildhall in Hull that promises to be an extraordinary event, as the Service pays tribute to the commitment exhibited by its staff.

These individuals serve as beacons of inspiration, embodying the core values that make the fire service truly exceptional.

In recognition of their remarkable service, the following awards will be presented:

  • 22 staff to receive a 20 Year Fire Brigade Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.
  • One member of staff to receive their 20 Year Award.
  • Three staff to receive a 30 Year Fire Brigade Long Service Clasp.
  • Two staff to receive a 40 Year Fire Brigade Long Service Clasp.
  • One member of staff to receive their 50 Year Certificate.

The ceremony recognises the critical role and enduring dedication of firefighters and fire staff who work tirelessly to protect their communities. Their long service is not only a mark of personal achievement but also a base of the fire service’s mission to keep the communities safe.

The Service continues to acknowledge and thank all staff for their continuous hard work in ensuring the safety of, and delivering a good service to, the communities across the Humber area.
