Humberside Fire and Rescue Service is currently consulting on its actions under each of the five Equality and Inclusion Priorities.

These were first established in 2016, after consulting with staff and communities to help strengthen and embed the priorities.

Our Equality and Inclusion Priorities are:

Priority 1 Leading by example on equality

Priority 2 Increasing diversity throughout our workforce

Priority 3 Ensure a safe and fair workplace for all staff

Priority 4 Continue to improve our knowledge of our diverse communities and how we engage with them

Priority 5 Identifying the fire and other emergency risks linked to multiple disadvantage and discrimination

After four year’s it’s time for a review and here’s where the Service needs your help. Visit our consultation area on our website, click here, to take part in the survey and share your thoughts and feedback on the proposed revised actions.

Today the Equality and Inclusion report for 2019/2020 has been published and this details the work the Service has done and continues to progress meeting the Equality and Inclusion Priorities. To read the report, please visit our webpage where you can read an overview and the full report.
