Humberside Fire and Rescue Service is proud to host its annual Health, Wellbeing and Performance Conference on Thursday 23 April, bringing staff together at the MKM Stadium in Hull for a day focused on learning, reflection and personal development.
Now in its third consecutive year in its current format, the event has become an established part of the Service’s calendar since 2017, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to supporting staff health, wellbeing and high performance across all roles and departments.
The event will feature a programme of guest speakers alongside presentations and interactive sessions designed to inspire, inform and support employees in both their professional and personal lives. Topics will include physical and mental wellbeing, resilience, leadership, performance improvement and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Jordan Kerman, Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing at Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, said: “Our annual Health, Wellbeing and Performance Conference continues to go from strength to strength. By investing in our people and providing access to expert speakers and meaningful discussion, we reinforce the importance of wellbeing as a cornerstone of performance and service delivery.”
In addition to the programme of speakers, the conference will give staff the opportunity to connect with colleagues and share ideas in an inclusive and supportive environment, helping to strengthen working relationships across the organisation.
Phil Shillito, Chief Fire Officer, said: “This conference forms part of our wider approach to staff support and development. We recognise that a healthy, motivated and engaged workforce is essential to delivering an effective and professional emergency service to our community.”
