Humberside Fire and Rescue Service has been recognised for its outstanding contribution to community safety and innovation in the latest State of Fire and Rescue 2024–25 report, published by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS). 

The annual report provides a national overview of fire and rescue services across England, highlighting areas of progress and ongoing challenges. Among the standout performers is Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, which has been commended for its forward-thinking approach, strong governance and commitment to inclusion and wellbeing. 

The Service continues to lead in prevention work, using cutting-edge technology and data-driven approaches to make sure resources and response efforts are targeted where they’re needed most. From the nationally recognised falls response team to AI-powered risk profiling, the Service is committed to protecting communities through smart, evidence-based decisions. With a strong focus on inclusion and staff wellbeing, the Service fosters a culture of care, ensuring both the public and its staff receive the highest standard of support.
