Humberside Fire and Rescue Service want to shine a light on the incredible drive, motivation, and love in our local area.
People have, through selfless acts, gone out of their way to look after the vulnerable, thank and raise money for the brave, make people smile, keep spirits high and let people know they are not alone.
This year, we want to extend our gratitude to our community and say thank you to all the unsung heroes out there.

If so, nominate your unsung hero today for a chance to receive the Unsung Hero Award, at this year’s Humberside Fire and Rescue Service’s Recognition Awards. The closing date for nominations is Friday 30 June 2023.
A shortlist of three nominations will receive an invitation to attend the Recognition Awards evening, on Friday 10 November, at the MKM Stadium in Hull. The winner will receive the Unsung Hero Award, presented by Phil Shillito, Chief Fire Officer.
