Peaks Lane Firefighters Fete returned this summer, welcoming around 4,500 visitors to Peaks Lane Fire Station on 11 July 2026 for a day of family fun, entertainment and community spirit.
The popular event offered something for everyone, including fire engine displays, live demonstrations, games, food stalls and opportunities to meet local firefighters and learn more about fire safety.
Thanks to the incredible support of those who attended, volunteered and contributed to the event, the fete raised an impressive £11,906.
The Service is proud to announce that the event raised just over £11,906, which will be split between the charities.
Steve Maloney, Watch Manager and Organiser of the fete, said, "A huge thank you to everyone who attended this year's Peaks Lane Firefighters Fete. The support from our local community was fantastic and helped us raise an incredible amount for two very deserving charities.
"We're also extremely grateful to all the volunteers, supporters and sponsors who helped make the day such a success. We couldn't have done it without you."
