Notice of issue of unqualified audit opinion and availability of the Statement of Accounts

In accordance with Regulation 10 of the Accounts and Audit (England) Regulations 2015, notice is hereby given that:

1. An unqualified opinion on the accounts of the Humberside Fire Authority has been issued for the year ended 31st March 2024, however there is a delay in the issue of the certificate of completion of the audit until our external auditors, Mazars, have completed the necessary work so that they can issue the assurance statement in respect of the Authority’s Whole of Government Accounts consolidation pack.
2. In line with Section 25 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014, the Statement of Accounts for 2022/23 is now available for public inspection at Humberside Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters, Summergroves Way, Hull, HU4 7BB between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies are available upon request and may also be accessed electronically via the Humberside Fire and Rescue Service website: www.humbersidefire.gov.uk
