Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Interested in a career where you can help others but not sure where to begin?
Join us for our Rookie Reds Programme, a 10-week journey of weekly sessions designed to inspire, inform and support you in exploring a career with Humberside Fire and Rescue Service. These sessions will take place one evening per week, the day of which will be dependent on the station. Each session will run for approximately 2 hours, beginning 18:30 - 20:30, across the HFRS service area. Together, we’ll break down barriers, build skills and open doors to meaningful opportunities.
What to expect:
- Insight into the diverse roles within Humberside Fire and Rescue Service
- Myth-busting around the modern Firefighter role
- Hands-on experience with the types of tests required for recruitment
- Opportunities to meet and engage with operational Firefighters and Fire staff
- Guidance on both operational and non-operational career paths
Participation in the Rookie Reds programme does not guarantee employment. However, it does offer a valuable opportunity to prepare, learn, and connect.
