After a thorough procurement process, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service has selected NEC Software Solutions (NECSWS) for a 7-year contract to implement a new hosted Command, Control, and Integrated Communication System (CICC).

The cloud-based, fully integrated system will enhance Control Room operations with cutting-edge features, including live video streaming and a mobile app for officers, offering improved functionality and a superior user experience.

Phil Shillito, Chief Fire Officer at Humberside Fire and Rescue, stated, “This marks a significant milestone in enhancing our Control Room capabilities, keeping us at the forefront of Fire Control technology.

“The dedication and hard work of our colleagues have been crucial in achieving this. We look forward to the positive impact of new features like 999Eye and the Mobilising App on our communities and staff.”

Paul Eggleton, Business and Product Development Director at NECSWS, added, “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Humberside Fire and Rescue Service. Our integrated Vision and DS3000 Control Room solution will provide all the essential information needed to mobilise fire appliances quickly and effectively.”

The system is scheduled to be rolled out in early 2026.
