We’re taking part in a planned multi-agency emergency services training exercise on Wednesday 16 July 2025, at Craven Park Stadium in Hull.
This important exercise will involve Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Humberside Police and Craven Park’s safety teams. It is designed to maintain and strengthen our excellent working relationships with other emergency services and to test inter-agency coordination in a realistic and controlled environment.
As part of the exercise, we will be sending our Mass Decontamination Unit, demonstrating our commitment to maintaining and complying with National Resilience capabilities.
Members of the public may notice a significant presence of emergency vehicles in the area throughout the day. We want to reassure everyone that this is not a real emergency, but a vital part of our ongoing commitment to community safety and emergency preparedness.
In response to the recent Yorkshire Water hosepipe ban, we are also taking steps to support water conservation efforts. As part of this, the exercise will be conducted without running water, ensuring we do our part to reduce non-essential water usage.
We appreciate the public’s understanding and support as we carry out this essential training.
