Chief Fire Officer, Phil Shillito said: "The 72 lives lost in the Grenfell Tower Fire remain at the forefront of our minds as we reflect on today's report. Though words can never ease the profound grief, our thoughts are with the families, loved ones, and all those deeply affected by the tragedy that occurred over seven years ago. We recognise how difficult and painful it must be for them to confront this report and we hold them in our hearts.

"This report compels us to remember the actions of those who responded to the incident, including members of the local community. They were confronted with unimaginable horrors and we honour their selflessness and bravery.

"We at Humberside Fire and Rescue Service believe it is our duty to reflect on and learn from the incident that led to the loss of 72 lives. Our continued commitment remains to putting our communities first and working with our emergency service colleagues to ensure that such a disaster never happens within the Humber region.

"We will consider every recommendation and continue working with partner agencies, and across the fire service sector and beyond on behalf of the communities we serve."
