A fire investigation is underway following the significant fire at an aerosol factory in Pocklington, East Yorkshire which broke out shortly before 5.00pm on Thursday 30 June.
At its height, around 60 firefighters were in attendance from stations across the East Riding. Ten engines, two aerial ladder platforms and a high volume pump were used to bring the fire under control. Crews were still damping down into the early hours of Friday morning.
FI officers will be attempting to ascertain the most likely cause and origin of the fire and will be working with management and staff at the scene.
HFRS officers are also working with the Environment Agency to look at the effects of the water run-off.
