1175 vaccinations, 696 hours. That's the total so far delivered by Humberside Fire and Rescue (HFRS) staff volunteers in support of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.

HFRS volunteers have smashed through over 1000 vaccinations as they continue to support City Health Care Partnership (CHCP) with the COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Hull. Members of staff have also helped Safecare Network with the setup of a mass vaccination centre at The Baths Hall in Scunthorpe.

Staff from various roles and sections across the Service have volunteered to play a part in the continued fight against COVID-19. On-Call Firefighters at Howden Fire Station have distributed an incredible two million items of PPE and medical supplies to healthcare partners. They’ll now get to work on delivering 161,000 COVID-19 tests to various sites across the Humber. As reported by the NFCC this week, a total of 113,600 vaccinations have so far been administered by Fire and Rescue Services since the start of the year. Join us in saying a huge well done to all those involved in the fight against COVID-19.
