We are committed to providing the best possible fire and rescue service for the Humber region. As our communities evolve, so do their needs. That’s why we are exploring ways to improve our service, make the best use of resources, and make sure our dedicated staff have the tools and support they need to keep you safe.

Our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) identifies the risks within our communities and outlines the high standards of service you can expect when we respond to emergencies. It also details the steps we take to manage and reduce these risks effectively. At the same time, we are reviewing our approach to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone within our organisation and the wider community. We believe our strength lies in the diversity of ideas, backgrounds, and experiences. To support this, we are establishing new Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) priorities that will guide our planning for the future.

Why your feedback matters

We need your help to shape both the CRMP and our EDI priorities. By sharing your thoughts, you will play a vital role in:

  • Enhancing safety for all through improved emergency planning and resource allocation.
  • Addressing fairness and ensuring the diverse needs of our communities are included.
  • Informing decisions on reinvestment and adapting to changing demands.

Your feedback will help us create meaningful plans that reflect what matters most to you, making sure that everyone feels valued and protected.

How to get involved

  • Our surveys are quick and easy to complete, with space for additional thoughts. Your input will directly inform our planning and priorities for the future.
  • Our consultations close: 5pm, 28 February 2025. Feedback will be presented at the Fire Authority meeting in March 2025.
