We have seen many popular events cancel this year due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, however, the organisers of Rescue Day didn’t want the day to pass without remembering some of the fantastic fun and action which takes place. Therefore, this annual 999 day will be held virtually on Saturday 11 July across social media with videos and pictures of the best bits from previous years.

This popular event promotes the great work of our Emergency and Voluntary Services, which include:

  • Police
  • Fire
  • Ambulance
  • Water Rescue
  • Air Ambulance
  • Search and Rescue
  • Rail and Highway Rescue
  • Rescue teams
  • Any many more

Each Service comes together to show the public what they do through a series of live action displays.

Rescue Day raises money for charities and good causes and has funded much lifesaving equipment over recent years.

Rescue Day is an event not to miss, please join us in this virtual event from 10am on Saturday 11 July on social media:
