As the coronavirus pandemic continues to impact all of our lives, our Public Safety teams have been working with local NHS teams, Local Authorities and partner agencies at the region’s hubs to help ensure the delivery of medicines, food parcels and other essentials get to vulnerable members of our community.
Our teams have completed hundreds of deliveries across Humberside, ensuring they and those they are visiting observe social distancing and are staying safe. For many this may be the only time they see a person and have a conversation that day.
This vital work supports our Safe and Well visits, which are now carried out over the telephone, identifying any fire risk concerns and dropping off equipment to vulnerable adults.
