Raising a Concern: Your Safe and Supportive Routes to Speak Up
If you are pregnant and considering how best to share your news with your line manager, please be reassured that you will be supported throughout the process. This is an important moment, and you can be confident that Humberside Fire & Rescue Service provides a safe, respectful and supportive environment where all colleagues are treated with dignity and fairness.
The Service is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture and that means your wellbeing is a priority and we are here to support you at every stage. If you ever feel that something is not in line with your expectations, the following reporting routes are available to you, and you can rest assured your concerns will be heard in the strictest confidence.
- Contact your line manager or a more senior manager
- Contact your HR Service Partner
- Contact the Service’s Wellbeing Manager
- Contact the Freedom to Speak Up Guardians
- Raise your concern via the Grievance Policy, the Whistleblowing Policy or the Conduct Policy
