Beverley Fire Station opens its doors to the public on Saturday 11 August for its 2018 Open Day. Pop in to the station on New Walkergate for a fun-filled afternoon.
Doors open at 12 noon and the fun in the sun will last all afternoon until 4.30pm. There will be loads to see and do for all the family:
- Specialist vehicles on display including ALP / HVP and boat
- German Fire Appliance from Lemgo (Beverley's twin town)
- Authentic Bratwurst sausages on sale
- Rescue from heights display
- RTC displays (cutting up cars)
- Exploding aerosol display
- Chip pan display
- CFS stands for Public Safety advice
- Safer Roads Humber with VR headsets
- Yorkshire Air Ambulance stand
- DJ 'pumping out' the latest tunes
- Blaze Bear
- Vintage fire appliance
- Cake and strawberries
- BBQ, teas and snacks
- Casualty simulation
- Face painting
- Bouncy castle
