The High Sheriff of the East Riding of Yorkshire, Debbie Rosenberg, presented awards to staff from local Public Sector and Charitable organisations, including members of Humberside Fire and Rescue Service staff during the recent Awards at Trinity House on 10 April.

The Awards are held to formally recognise the achievements of those Public Sector and Charitable organisations staff who have made a significant difference within their communities.

Susan Smith and Mark Coulthard received the award in recognition of their work as Road Safety Advocates for Safer Roads Humber. Matt Sutcliffe, Head of Service Delivery for Hull, was presented an award which he received on behalf of the whole of the Service Delivery team in Hull. Laura Butcher, a Firefighter in the Control Room, also received an award in recognition of her bravery following her offering lifesaving CPR to a passer-by.

Congratulations to everyone!
